When I decided to get back into drawing regularly to improve my skills, skulls were one of the things I chose as a topic for sketching. I'm really interested in depictions of skulls - this was attempting to be realistic in proportions while still using a fairly thick line and area fill based shading for a more cartoonish or comic book style.

I got a bit carried away with variations of multiple background colours and different sizes to create desktop wallpaper with tiled skulls.

I hope one day to get to the point where I can design my own skull tattoo, I think it's a classic theme in western tattoo art and something that I would like to have on my body.
